I am stuck on level 2? (Direct Intervention)

I am stuck on Direct Intervention. I am at the third of those machine things that when activated shoot some black particle beam into the reactor.

Anyway when I throw one of those power balls into the thing that I need to throw it in to turn on the machine, it malfunctions. I have gone down below where the machine was stored at but there is nothing down there. So what do I do??!??!

Also I stiff have not recieved a weapon. I still only have the gravity gun. Is that normal?

Yes, it is. That is the SUPER gravity gun. You know how you can use it on your enemies? And it kills them instantly? Yeah.


Also, when you go down where the machine was, there should be three energy ball receptacles (they aren't as fancy as the big ones). Put energy balls in them.

And remember to step on the platform before you put the last one in.

Indeed, take the orbs and put them into the smaller containers, the last one will power up the platform you need to get back up again, so stand on it and shoot the orb across the room into the container, and it should take you back up.

Ok I got it. Thanks. But why di I still not have a gun? I made it to the next level and I still dont have crap.

The blue-Gravity gun is stronger than a gun. I called it the one-hit-killer. It makes your enemies become like pikachu's 'thunder'. I wish that I had it now... cry..

Last time I checked in HL2 (didn't check HL2: E1), that only gives you the normal one.
