i bought a vcard 6600GT

im upgrading my Radeon X600SE 256MB Hypermemory crap card to geforce 6600GT 128MB... and i wanna know if i made a good deal

is 6600gt still good or its old and outdated?

i bought the same exact gfx card (except its agp) couple of days. its not outdated yet cuz its awesome. make sure u got enough power to run that bad boy.

Well it is starting to get old (you could buy them September 2004), it has some problems with FEAR and COD2 but it can still play them.

But for $99 you cant go wrong!

I would reccomend a 6800gs as it will last longer.

HEY GUYS from the 2nd post I just realized that my computer got a 305WATT Powersupply and i read the req for the 6600GT is 350WATT oh noooooooooo..... stupid dell making computer that is just right ....

Problems with F.E.A.R. and Call of Duty 2 with a 6600GT? As long as you take care of your computer and have at least 2GB of memory, you are perfectly fine. Hell, I can play the games absolutely perfectly (highest settings to boot) without a single hitch.
