Im not sure how it happened, I didnt get a screenshot, and I havnt been able to do it since, but during the Dog vs Strider fight I shot a rocket at them both and Dog went flying...explanation?

since the scene is only half scripted, it could happen if a very large about of force is well, forced into dog by the rocket's hit, so...

I think he means that if something fast enough (rocket) hits dog in the right place it could **** up the scripting

I did something similar , i wanted to see what i grenade would do to them so i threw one then they just froze in place. I have not been able to do that since either. Seems like this part is pretty buggy , or was at least.
