i can't believe how ****ing awesome this instrumental track of theirs is

i just discovered it tonight when i got don't believe the truth and it made me wet my pants with joy for some reason

even know theres nowt to it, it fills my heart with warmth and hope. i'm guessing most of you have heard it but if not try and get hold of it

can't believe how impressed i am by this one track

Even after 3 singles they are yet to officially release this song, shame really, cos it`s not bad.

Yeah, it's a good song. But the best one on that album is Keep the Dream Alive.

/Resurecshens!

Sorry, i obtained this album yesterday, and this track blows me away, its so emotive, i love it to bits. An Oasis instrumental is something i've never heard of before, but dear god i'm glad there is this one. What a CHOON! :)

Another good instrumental they've done is "f**king in the bushes." Get that one too.

That`s the best Instrumental they`ve ever done by far, I just love the opening to it.

If you`ve never heard it and seen the movie Snatch with Brad Pitt, go to the end boxing match in the movie, that music is Oasis - ****in In The Bushes.

I love the film. The song is perfect in that scene.

Also, when I saw them live in the fall the walked on stage to the opening of the song and it was one of the coolest moments of my life.

Funny you should suggest that, as when i sent this song to my friend, he suggested ****'in in the bushes too, saying it was his fav oasis instrumental, i'll check it out tomorrow.

Stemot and Kaf, any other favourites from 'dont believe the truth?'

Turn Up The Sun, I love this, Liam back to his snarling best, and the intro and outro add something kind of sereen to the whole thing. :)

Meaning Of Soul, short, but doesn`t half rock.

and probably

Part Of The Queue, best Noel song on there, nice lryics and good tune, albiet slightly nicked from The Stranglers.

Obviously also the singles, Lyla, The Importance Of Being Idle and Let There Be Love.

A very strong album actually, had it on play for 6 month solid before I got Arctic Monkeys album, must give it a listen today :)

I'll pay more attention to those few you said.

Arctic Monkey's album is superb, a certain romance, mardy bum, fake tails of san francisco, riot van, dancing shoes, all great songs (in that order of how much i like them) You'll be in love with it soon enough!

On another note i also bought 'stars of CCTV' (hard-fi album) today, and i really like it, feeling very musical atm.

I can't find the track. What number is it? The songs on iTunes go from 1-11, the 12th being eyball tickler.

If you mean 'I can see it now' it is track 12. I think you might be checking the wrong album, check its 'dont believe the truth'. It must be there.

Nah mate, that`s cos you won`t find it on anything official other than the Jap release, the version of Don`t Believe The Truth flying round torrent sites has it on, but if you buy it legally, you won`t get it, sorry;(

Use Limewire or torrents to find the song on it`s own.

I`ve had the Arctic album since it leaked in December, ****in awesome album, my favourite song is definately "Ritz To The Rubble" :)

My favorite tracks include Turn Up The Sun, The Importance of Being Idle, A Bell WIll Ring, and Let There Be Love. Its an all around great album. And I'm trying to get the Arctic Monkeys right now, I've only been hearing good things.

Edit: Just got a few Arctic Monkeys tracks now. Im blown away. I will be listening to this for the next few weeks.

Edit #2: Ok, I just listened to the album twice. Instantly one of my new favorite bands.

It`s certainly not hard to see why they are selling out their tour in a matter of minutes and their album is flying off the shelves, in my opinion, Oasis have finally found a band to hand the torch down to so to speak.

Well, their next albums will determin if that is true :)

That torch was passed after the release of The Bends and no one has looked back.

I really agree. They're just two great bands.

We`ve been here before and I refuse to be drawn back into this argument, for fans of Oasis, before now nobody has come along with the songs and the swagger to challenge the Gallaghers, but as alot of Oasis fans will tell you, they feel that now, finally, another UK band have come along with amazing songs, the right attitude, and who got where they are from hard work, coming from working class roots.

Anyway, that`s my point of view on them, I wish I could have the time of work, and the amazing good luck on ticket sale day, to be going to see them live, but I`ll just have to wait till their next tour :D

I'll certanily be first in line if they ever come to my corner of the U.S.

Well I managed to stay away for 2 whole months, but meh I need to post in this thread lol.

1. I can see it now is shit. You guy's who are saying it's great are kidding yourselves. It sounds like it would have been a pretty decent addition to the soundtrack to maybe Lost in Translation or something like that. It's an OK song, but prolly in my 5 least favourite Oasis tracks.

2. The Arctic Monkeys album is a very solid album, but it's music you need to dance about to... I mean I literally can't sit down and listen to that album without my legs going into full spasm. I was out at a club in Huddersfield caleld Tokyo on Friday night and downstairs is the indie lounge and I swear every time an Monkeys track came on everyone went nuts (myself included). Dancing Shoes & Riot Van are my faves atm.

You guys wanna check out the album by Editors... yes 'Editors', not 'The Editors'. That album has a right track on it (Bullets).

1) Well, that`s just your opinion :P, we like it, to us that makes it definately un-shit (is that a word? :dozey: ), again, not a patch on FITB, but as far as I`m concerned, and I know everybody who likes Oasis will probably disagree with me, it`s better than the god-awful "Swamp Song".

2) I don`t do dancing, for the main reason I fear I`d look like Jim Carrey having a fit, so I can`t comment on the dancing aspect, but for me I can listen to it anywhere, in the bath (it`s lucky you guys don`t know me so you can`t picture that horrible image:D ), in the car, even at work, best album since DBTT anyway.

I got that Editors album, and I like Bullet and Munich, haven`t really given the whole thing a good listen yet though, but yeah, Bullets is a great tune :)

Heh, noticed you hadn`t been around for a while Craig, you staying or just passing through?

Woot Craig came back, i was hoping you would.

I think its a great track, but yeah i love the Arctic Monkeys album and i have the Editors album too. Munich and Blood are my two fav's on it so far, loving it generally though.

Really liking 'love like a bomb' recently too on DBTT.

Craig stick around, cmon! :)

Yeah Love Like a Bomb is pretty cool. I kinda like the 'underproduced' edge Liams songs have to them.

IMO the best tracks on DBTT are: Turn Up The Sun, Lyla, Part of the Queue, A Bell Will Ring and Let There Be Love.

Any of you guys Kaiser Chief fans?

I only liked "Modern Way" by the Kaiser Chiefs, the rest I just find to be irratating, sorry ;(

Big fan of employment, loved that album, particularly "you can have it all" "born to be a dancer", and the singles (always on at parties these days!) I saw them at V fest last year too, i really like them, they working on doing another album? (already :D )

Talking of new albums, keane's follow up to hopes and fears is right around the corner, i like keane, so i can't wait.

Meh, Keane are OK. Bit too 'pop' for my liking.
