Was it just me, or was this one of the funniest films this millenium? Seemingly the rest of the audience at my local didn't seem to think so. Only me and my friend were laughing. And everyone gave us funny looks...

In my opinion it was the lyrics in the songs that did it for me. Especially the AIDs song. I was just on the floor.

I didn't think it was that funny. I only laughed whenever the puppeteers had to make them walk, and the odd other thing. I was thinking of walking out half-way through. The songs weren't as good as South Park's either.

I loved the South Park movie when that came out.

that movie was hilarious lol especially the part where he was talkin about how his brother died

I absolutely loved Team America, I even bought the sound track to it. Definately the funniest movie I have seen in a very long time.

"America! **** Ya!!" lol.

GREAT film...loved every moment of it...

Preferred the - "America, &%"$ yeah, saving the world...." - song

 yah that movie was great. Parker and Stone have an uncanny ability to show the folly in boths sides of an argument.

America: World Police,. hah. oh man. It really was apropraite in todays politcal climate.. especially concidering Bush's scary inaguration speech. (better stop myself before this becomes a political debate).

o/` America! F*ck Yeah! Comin' again to save the mother****ing day, yeah!

Oh man. Funny as hell.

I just remembered that song in the begining about the price of freedom,.

Oh man, I laughed so hard!

"If you dont throw in your buck-o-five, who will?
Freedom costs a buck-o-five!"

Best song is definately the Pearl harbour one.

"All I'm trying to say, is Pearl Harbour sucked. And I miss you..."

There actually was a thread about it... when it was new... :upstare:

...but yeah, really funny :)

Yeh i was going to make a thread on this movie just ydy but i couldn;t be bothered.

Yeh it was a great movie and an even better soundtrack

yea Team America has so much good humour, a different type thats hardly found in movies these days.

LOL i just love the way they made the movies cultural aspects as 'how america sees it'. Slightly racist, but its just so hilarious seeing middle-east asians using a limited vocabulary, like 'daka-daka, muhammed, jihad' LMAO it makes me laugh so damn much. Let alone the rest of it.

Well it's captured my preferred aspect of humour :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

i loved it but it doesn't seem to flow right, whether that was intentional i don't know

Just saw it yesterday... rofl it was fo funny  Especially the songs and the puppet fights :)

i can't wait for the DVD to come out... just imagine what kind of extras they can put on it. There's probally loads of behind the scenes films where you get to see them playing with puppets :p

Over-rated reviews from the public. I laughed only at the beginning and a chuckled a few times afterwards. As someone said, South Park the movie was a lot better. I expected more to tell you the truth.

Lol, just lised to the soundtrack, funny shit. Didn't find it funny in the movie though.

"Immigrants, **** yeah!"

I liked it alot better than the South Park movie. I haven't laughed so hard in ages as I did at some parts. Best part of the movie for me -

"SURPRAAAAAISE, COCKFAAAACE!"

Eh well one part of the movie (the explicit part :O ) was edited THREE times before it passed censors...to then go on and become 18s (in Ireland)... So, from what i have heard, the original was fairly graphic....Should be...interesting...

it was pretty cool i guess, the north korean guy was funny because he was sounding like cartman and he couldn't pronounce things right

I don't know what it was about the movie, but the thing that i found funniest, and still giggle a little when i think about it, was everytime Matt Damon says "Matt Damon".

"I can't possibly upstage Alec Baldwin. He's the greatest actor in the world."

There are so many people who dont like south park and all the things matt and trey do. I dont get them at all. I think they are the funiest guys around. They take all the serious issue we are dealing with today and make fun of them. Team America was awesome. The way they made the puppets walk like...well puppets that didnt know they were puppets i guess.

"The terrorist headquarters are located in Durkadurkastan!"

"I've got 5 terrorists travelling west on DurkaDurkaStreet"

"Durka Durka Jihad"

Hahahaha - When will that DVD come out...I WANT IT NOW!!! :)

Guy in Bar: 'See, there's three kinds of people ....'

It just had like a half hour long puppet sex scene.

the original or the cut-down version...the cut-down version i heard had a bit of fetish and all :O

wierd...

What do you guys think about the vomit scene? I couldn't believe it was so funny even after they went past the comedy 3.

Has anyone seen their slighlty less head of work?
Cannibal: The Musical
and
Orgazmo?

They are damn funny.

"I've got 5 terrorists travelling west on DurkaDurkaStreet"

No it was Bakalakadaka street remember?...lol The more I watch this movie the funnier it gets...

Yeah, it was the country called Durkadurkastan.
And terrorists on Bakalakadaka street.

I laughed so hard, it reminded me of that south park episode:

"Rob Schneider Durpdy durp! From the creators of "Derp!" and "Tum ti tiddly tum te turp", Rob Schneider is "Da durp de derp de durpity durpy durpy dum!"

Interesting fact for those who don't know (of whom there probably isn't very many): the movie was almost rated NC-17 because of the puppet sex scene which was originally like 10 min. long (as it will be on the DVD).
