I can't create a CS:S server that my friend can join.. :(

Hi.

I'm trying to make a CS:S dedicated server. But no matter if I select LAN or INTERNET, my server still only shows up under the LAN tab when I search for my server in my server list.

My friend can't even find it, because no matter what I do, it treats my server as a LAN. I even checked sv_lan, and its set to 0, yet tells me this server is a LAN server. Wether its 1 or 0.

Anyone know what exactly I could be doing wrong?

would you plz tell me what you did to get it to work?? have the same problem... cant find it in the server-list... why?? doesnt steam recognice it as a server and list it?? Im running the dedicated server you can download thrue stem btw... is there any other way of running one maybe??
