i cant get on steam or the forums

ok i came home tnite and wanted a counter strike source session i tried to connect but i got a error message unable to connect to steam servers then i thought ill go on the forums and i cant get onto them either it just times out page cannot be displayed etc what the hell is going on???? can some one shed light onto this oh and by the way i dont have a firewall etc

DUDE exactly the same thing here! it's obviously a problem with Steam / Valve then, not just us haha.

It's steam. They are having a problem. A lot of people are having this problem, me included. I hope they fix it soon.

heh, well looks like i'll fire up my old max payne 2 w/Cinema mod
