I can't get sentry guns placed upright

When a gun is knocked over, I run up to it, pick it up (with either the 'e' key or the gravity gun), but it stays horizontal.
I tried looking up when holding it, but it remains horizontal.

what am I doing wrong?

I had that same problem too, man. Running around with all these Combine shooting at my ass while I'm trying to set a gun up right. I think if you stand next to a wall when its like that and it will upright-itself. Maybe? I distinctly remember bashing mine against a wall when I was in one of the cells hiding with one of the guns.

When you pick up a sentry gun with "e" (use button) they should automatically go upright. If it doesn't, well, I really can't help ya there. Sorry bout that. Also, try using the gravity gun and seeing if that works.

Nope it doesn't go upright

Hi

Look up when you are holding the sentry gun and it will right itself. Then you can put it back down.

I dropped it against a wall with the gravity gun...then it shot me dead. Arrrgh.
