I can't Play HL2 it freezes on loading screen.

I start up game and it shows the man with the valve in his eye. Then it goes to loading the menu but just continues to say loading. I can't even get back to windows unless I restart my PC. All this happens on my second PC, but it works fine on my main PC except HL:S it does the same thing as HL2 do on the second PC.

Mine did that, just leave it for ages and it works and then next time it loads its a lot quicker...

Do you have the game 100% downloaded?

Yeah, just leave it. I believe that first load takes a little bit, but it will work. My brother asked me about the same thing. I told him to just wait on it.
