I can't play this game

I really want to play this game, I have it and it's a really nice laid back game but the performance is terrible.

Even on the lowest settings it lags, it looks awful. When it is playable I don't want to play it because I have better graphics on my mobile phone.

I have a AMD3800, 1gb RAM and a 6600 GPU. I'm guessing my GPU is the choke point. Anyone able to play this on good graphics?

If you value graphics over gameplay in the first place, you'll be missing out on a lot of fun...

However, seems like you are having some software problem. Drivers, or fragmentation, something. The 6600 can't run Oblivion on all high settings, but it should certainly pull off Medium settings. The official recommended requirements say a 6800 or higher, by the way.

I'm not a huge graphics whore, I do prefer gameplay but when I'm in a giant green desert with the only trees in sight have to be within a 5m radius of me, sucks.

No I'm not exaggerating much, Oblivion on low graphics is terrible, I can't run it but anything than low.

Personally i think that it dont really matter about the graphics, the games awsome and im not really fussed about graphics as it is.
