I Can't Remember This Game..

There was this one game that I've never played, but I heard it was a good, under-rated one like System Shock 2. From what I can remember about the description, you could pick three different "Classes" like from SS2, but the game was centered around psionics/telepathy, that kind of stuff. It was supposed to be a scary game. I remember reading stuff about different kind of armors and weapons. I know you could pick a guy who was good at weapons, a guy who was good a technical stuff, and the psi-guy. I think it was from around the same time as SS2/Deus Ex.

If someone can remember please tell me, because it's driving me crazy, and if I'm thinking of the game I'm thinking of, I want to play it.

It sounds like SS2, but I remember seeing screenshots for it, and it didn't look like SS2. I remember in a review I read, it said you had to prepare for a big battle in almost every room you went in, and you could use shadows to hide in. It is for PC.. I thought it was psi-ops, but then I learned psi-ops is only for consoles, and this was a PC exclusive. I remember I really wanted to play it after reading a review, which is why I want to play it now.

Your description sounds like SS2. Was it in third person? If so it could be Second Sight, though I don't remember it having anything you said other than the psychic abilities.

Considering its alleged closeness to Deus Ex, it couldn't be Project Snowblind? (at some time in development? doesn't sound too like the finished product).

I'm otherwise inclined to think that you've simply split Shock 2 in half and played it thinking it's two seperate games For a game to be so similar to System Shock 2, and apparently out around about the same time, yet for everyone who adores System Shock 2 to miss that title... doesn't sound likely
