At least, I think I did.
I installed a new cooler on it (A nVidia 6800 GS, see my previous thread here ) from Zalman, the V700 Cu. All was well, and the installation went as planned. I closely followed the (non-engrish ) booklet and put on coolant paste where necesssary. (although not too much so it wouldn't smudge the chip)
Anyways, I installed the card into my computer and when I start it, I get this gigantic beeping noise coming SOMEWHERE from my computer. I thought it was the wrong voltage, so I switched it from 12V to 5V (there are different wires you can switch between). Am I doing something wrong or should I salvage the copper and make an airplane out of it?
