I don't get as many servers on my server list as other people do.

In CSS I usually get around 500.
In BF2 I get 450 IF I'M LUCKY. (I've heard people having servers in the thousands.)

I just downloaded Source Forts and I don't have ANY servers to join, and I know that can't be right.

1. do you guys get these type of numbers?
2. How can I fix this if you don't?

I have a firewall, not sure how many (those default Windows firewalls and other third party ones might be running)

I just got 414 servers no filters. I'll turn off the windows firewall and see what happens.

EDIT: 413 servers with firewall off :|

im a 56ker..and im getting FAR more than you...very odd..
I have far far more than 2k with Secure, Server not full, has players, not passworded.. And I could get more if I really needed to(just letting it go longer).

Are you sure you have nothing on:
map, game, latency, LOCATION.

Are you running PeerGurdian or any other blocklisting tool?
lol, I couldent figure out a similar problem like this before, then I opened PeerGurdian as I was refreashing my CS list and it was blocking alot of them.

I'm pretty sure I don't have a blocklisting tool, unless one comes with XP or another component. I haven't downloaded one I KNOW.

and Minerel there are ZERO filters on.

Are you using Steam or All seeing Eye or some other sort of thing?
Probably not but im just looking for anything that may cause such low amount of servers.

Try just running only one firewall. Having more than one running at once can cause problems.

And do you have a router?

I have around 175 BF2 servers, but that's only because I have a lot of filters

Ranked+Large Map+Not Empty+Full+No Password possibly more i'm not sure.

I'm not totally sure about the multiple firewalls thing, and I wouldn't know where to start looking for them.

I have no Idea what All Seeing Eye is and I'm using Steam

Ok, I tried it (or at least everything that didn't have to do with starting a server(port forwarding,)) and as far as I can tell it didn't work.

I let my server list for CSS sit for about 30 minutes and my list was over 3000, which is good but 1. it took way to long to get all of them and 2. It still isn't as much as other people are getting.

Also there were still no servers for Source Forts which I'm DYING to try out.

Did you start up the specific game first then do a search or did you just open the server search from steam without a game running?

I always look for servers within the game, I'll check the servers just from Steam right now.
