That's fully feasible. Logic tells us that if:
A -> B and B -> C, then A -> C.
So if we love Glados, and Glados tells us to love the companion cube, we love the companion cube.
Although, as humans we don't have to strictly follow logic. It helps, though.
So the question is, how many of us are actually in love with Glados, though we profess loving the Companion Cube, even though we took glee in killing her (and the cube itself)? Oh man, this is to be all kinds of ****ed up.
