I want a horse. If any of you law-makers/knowers out there, is there any law against having a horse as a method of transportation? It would be cool, just zipping through traffic.
Some guy: "What kind of car do you have?"
Me: "A mustang."
Horse in a distant area, away from the conversation: "NEEEEEEIGH!"

Ummmm, i'm not sure about US but i know in UK you can take them anywhere on the roads except motorways and carridgeways e.t.c
A horse is a bit of a stupid method of transport these days with modern cars, dangerous really. If a truck drives by and the horse bolts, you're ****ed.

ray_man, why don't you get a pushbike? A horse is gonna cost more than a car to upkeep, and it's not like you'd be able to go as fast on busy roads...

i don't plan on a car either, but seriously man, don't get a horse, it's just a bad idea. get a bike or take public transport.

why the hell do you want a horse anyway?

If you're looking for a cheap alternative to buying a car..just take the bus. A horse will cost you more in the longrun..Plus, if it dies..you're screwed. I've never heard of 'horse insurance'.

most horses are insured, especially race horses or those put out to stud and with a good line.

He could always get a scooter, or rollerblades. He'd be mad to get a horse, as others have said, ends up costing more than a car would. Or he could walk and stay fit.

Motorcycle = Modern Equivalent of a Horse

There you go. :D The riding syle is even the same.

yeah, cars are of the devil.... scratch someone elses car just a bit? $1500. cash. upfront. or get the insurance.....

motorcycles are a bit dangerous...

heh, actually, I hate to be the nay-sayer here, but there is a such thing as horse insurance. My parents have horses, and my sister shows them, so they've got them insured in case they get injured or require surgery.

Put your hands over its eyes...

Horses are ancient transportation now anyway, I'm suprised they haven't been decommisioned yet.

It's a feeling to blast away on a horse, that's true, but don't use it as a mean of transport.

I love horses! best of all the animals! I love horses, their my friends

This whole topic has made me remember an old joke...

"What is the difference between a car and a horse?"
A horse doesn't have windows [here enter laughs]
