Anyone tested this I-Dose thingy out? Its some sort of brainwaves that makes you high, you can have the same effects of weed/hash/alcohole etc by just listening to it for about 40 minutes in complete darkness and concentration. Tried it for about 20 minutes and i got some feelings going on, nothing to great tho. I wasnt concentrated enough.

u can get it through...uhm..you know how..yeah

heard you can get some freaky nightmares if u listen to it when u go to sleep so thats why im kinda scared about it all.

Anyone know if this actually works, have u tried it? experiances?

Blatantly a plot to take over the world.

"Now, as my media empire grows, so too do my unwitting minions! Today, drugs; tomorrow, the world!"

Unfortunately binaural audio requires that the listener's ears be a similar shape to the prosthetic ears used to record the original signal.

So I'd say a fool and his money are easily parted.

What if I were to smoke a blunt while listening to this for 40 minutes?

Extra high?
Death?
Coma?
_____?

It would actually completely negate the effects of the marijuana.

Lame.

I just listened to one of the samples, it's actually pretty relaxing to listen to.

And lol @ above pic, what the hell is that?

Doesn't work. Drugs etc cause chemical changes to your brain. Chemicals can't originate from binaural sound.

I think that the most it'll do is sort of put you in a trance-like state.

Then again, put on the right song and you can get 'high' off of anything you have in your music folder.

Drugs trigger chemical changes, but it is plausible for sound to also trigger or alter chemical release. This stuff looks like a load of entrepreneurial bullshit though.

i just tested one called "aftermath" and i gotta tell ya im very impressed with the results. It feelt as if i was asleep but still awake, and that my arms were separate from the body, hard to explain. It was some sort of delusion cuz i could continously see a specific person i like atm, also specific events happening lately replayed themselves but in 3rd person. I also felt alot of tickeling in my stumech, and when i turned it off my hands and fingers felt very light weight. Wore of within 2-3 minutes tho, but once ur under the trance its amazing. Im not over-exagurating, it was really impressive. When the pulse of the sound increased so did the images in my mind, to a point were they were flashing.

Heard of one called "HandOfGOd" which is said to be so powerfull that you shouldnt even use it.

Welcome to the age old practice of meditating. At least, that's what it sounds you're doing. Sound making you stoned is a load of bullcrap.

Guess we'll just have to "acquire" a dose and try it out :p

SOLD. I haven't had a nightmare in at least four years. I feel oddly deprived.

Yeah, I thought that too until I had the **** scared out of me about six months ago. It was my first nightmare since childhood and I woke up covered in sweat freaking out hard.

so wait, has anyone else besides the OP tried this I sound or whatever? wheres the free sample?

you're lying because its not supposed to work until you finish listening... so gg. Btw they say that on their forums, and I think it's in their FAQ too. most people who have never done any drug other than alcohol and maybe had one of those doses work on them probably wouldn't say things like "it was impressive"... more like "WHAT THE ****!?!?!??!" (not saying you haven't done any drugs before, but a lot of people claim to have gotten high on this thing without ever doing anything harder than alcy before) ...also, i imagine they would have been sued 100 fold if it really worked because someone is bound to go insane from trying Hand of God, and they say its completely safe... they say its completely safe because they know its placebo and no-one is going to have a traumatizing experience from it.

EDIT: And by the way, BALLS!

that ain't true, i tried the alcohol one for 15 minutes and i felt warm like i just had a shot or two.

I think all the feelings are self-induced, it's cool though, I might pop some on my iPod and try it under better conditions than sitting in my comp chair

**EDIT**

Just realized it's got its own format, so I guess the iPod idea won't work

just change .drg to .mp3, lol.

EDIT: NOT A JOKE

EDIT: actually i just realized that it doesn't work when you do that.

It relies on the placebo effect. Some idiots will believe this actually works...and usually those are the ones who would want to experience what drugs are like. go figure.

I tried the ecstacy one. All it did was make me feel slightly ill, and not in the same way an E would. More like I had food poisoning.

well id say dont underestimate placebo. but listening to brainwaves to get stoned sounds about as nice as fecal vomiting, in comparison with the real thing

So even if it is a placebo effect, if it still FEELS real what does it really matter? Its all about the feeling isn't it? If it FEELS real, it may as well be real.

Sometimes when I drink, I get the feeling I am getting tipsy even though I know there is no way the alcohol is hitting me yet? Is it placebo, probably. Does it matter? No, because it still feels damn good.
