Basically, we have an awesome true HD projector in our school lecture theater and an awesome surround sound system. Basically, you could say its like a movie theater, and it is freaking huge (naturally, since it is a Lecture Theater).

So one of my friends actually helps out with the AV in there and he brought along his xbox 360 and connected it to the sound and projector. Me and my group of friends went there in the night to join him. It was totally F****** awesome, playing the 360 on the huge f****** screen. We were playing GoW, quake 4 and halo 3. It was totally incredible. The huge screen, the air conditioned LT, the incredible surround sound, and we sat there with our controllers playing. That people. was the best gaming experience I have ever had in my life.

Anyone done this before, bringing their pc or consoles and plugging it to an LT projector and play it? The experience is better than heaven..

My friend has a setup similar (on a much smaller scale) in his apartment. They have a sweet projector, a couple couches and chairs set up in stadium seating style, and a nice sound system. Its not quite the same scope as your experience, but its nice as hell.

Sounds awesome! Greatest game set up i ever had was 6 tvs(or projectors) and 6 360s. And playing halo 3 looooooooooong into the night with 16 people. Gooooooood Times.....

I remember I played GOW for the first time ever, right on my 61" HDTV, best thing ever. I just wish my dad would let me at it again but he's afraid it'll f*** the TV up. Can't say I exactly blame him though, it's not something I want to mess up either :P

I've always wanted to play games on that style of a system. Would be pretty bad ass, and hella enjoyable.

I'll rent out a cinema screen one day...

To play mother****ing Pong.

There will be an audience. They will take turns.

And for the first time in history, people will be seen turning their heads back and forth to follow a pixel instead of a ball.

My bro-in-law had an overhead projector from work, brought it home as he needed it anyway for work.

That sunday, i played WoW with it. Mustve been able to get it to 12ft x 12ft? Raiding on that was just...immense.

What a waste...

Guys I know did it back high school, in our auditorium.

I know two guys with their own projectors, actually. AFAIK one uses it for most XBox parties.

We have a car simulator project going on in Uni which basically is a Volvo with projectors around it (It even has force feedback :P). I asked them if they tried to play some other game on the setup and the first thing they played was 360 degree pong. That must have been awesome :)

My school ran a Guitar Hero comp in the auditorium for homecoming, it was pretty awesome, especially because they hooked it into the PA system and the projector
