I was just playing online earlier and some guy on a server mentioned a group called "DAMNCheaters" and in my curiosity I checked it out.

http://www.damncheaters.com/index.html

Turns out it's a company that sells cheating/hacking solutions for FPSs, MMOs and so forth. They claim their cheats are undetectable by traditional anti-cheat systems such as Punkbusters.

I just had to vent how f*cking much I hate cheaters and I hate people who make money off cheaters even more.

If sending threatening letters to company executives was legal I'd totally send it to this company's execs!:frown:

I hope somebody cheats them out of a fortune!

There was one time I used to cheat at a game... in a multi player setting. I've used cheats to have fun in some other games, but those have always been single player.

The game that I have cheated on before in the past(long long ago), was experimenting with aimbot cheats for counter strike. This was a long, long time ago. I remember that the cheat basically used color detection, and the models were like a solid green or a solid red, and the mouse would immediately jump to those colors. I don't remember if it was just the head or the whole body, but I do remember that it didn't work all that well. Another cheat during that same period was a wallhack, where I could see people through walls.

I feel incredibly guilty about those days, even though I didn't do it for very long. Other than those times though, I have never cheated and I refuse to cheat in multi player settings or at board games or anything. I like keeping my integrity.

Sells? Why haven't they gone bankrupt?

Also, I've cheated once in Starcraft.

i used to accidentally cheat. on my old pc i sometimes had a graphical problem in counter strike where all the textures would get screwy but i was able to see through them. since i didn't purposefully attempt to cheat i'm innocent of all charges.

Damn what a crappy website. If you want to rage at hacks just go have a look at Artificial Aiming (google it), that shit annoys the hell out of me.

Would you happen to know some uber-hax0r that does DDoS attacks in exchange for moneys?:naughty:

I can help you with that.

On a serious note though yes cheaters suck but most games already have anti-cheating systems, though most are terrible and is only as effective as they allow themselves to be.

I remember years ago when ASUS announced and supplied video drivers that enabled wallhacking and such. Gotta admire the stones on these people.

I'm surprised the companys that host these anti-cheat services like Punkbuster, VAC, etc, can't sue these people

According to one of the owners posts on the forum of DAMNCheaters, the first company to sell 'hacks' for MW2 was apparently immediately issued a CnD(Cease and Desist) lawsuit from Activision-Blizzard.

What's surprising is that other gaming companies don't seem to care or have enough money to sue these bastards.

I cheat all the time at cards and board games. I will rip the controller out of opponents hands when playing on consoles and rage quit if people tell me to calm down. Then I'll boast how I whould have won had I finished the game.

Tsk tsk tsk, you my kind Sir, deserve a spanking!

I audibly laughed in a library, and it sounded rather odd. Thanks a lot.
