I hate HP even more now...

So I'm pretty good with computers and after 3 hours I still can't get my HP printer to work on vista 64-bit...even though it says it's compatible with it on the box. My friend is a network technician and couldn't make it work and my roommate is a computer engineer and he couldn't get it to work either.

So today I called HP and they did the remote desktop crap to try and fix my computer an hour and 9 minutes later I hear the phone disconnect, the HP remote desktop taskbar icon disappears and the website pops up and says, "thank you for using HP!"

THEY ****ING QUIT ON ME! The woman tried it herself then brought in 2 other "supervisors" to help with the problem...there was about 5 minutes of no talking before finally *click*. And now I'm all alone with a printer that won't print!

I despise HP. My computer broke down and I sent it to them to fix it, first they send it to Best Buy, not my house, which scared the crap out of me since I thought someone stole it. Then I finally got my computer back and it was missing 512MB of RAM. SO it took me a month to get my computer back, and about 7 hours in all talking to some guy from INdia I couldn't understand...

I just went and took it back and got a lexmark Z1480....it installed on the first try, no problems, and is currently printing a test page. HP can go to hell...

That reminds me of a time where I was on some shitty ISP. My Dad, who is Indian, rang up the support line and, lo and behold, he got put through to an Indian.

My Dad couldn't understand a single word that the guy was saying. :rolling:

I have an HP printer. It doesn't work with Vista, but I installed drivers of a similar printer and now it works.
