I hate these types of bands, they all sound the same...

I used to like evanescence when I was thirteen or so... because they had a song in the enter the matrix game.

Lucky for me I discovered ska soon after or I'd have led a very embarassing life.

I did indeed like them around that age too....

It's normal for young/impressonable/stupid kids to have shitty taste in music or whatever. As long as they grow out of it, I mean.

Yeah...... Linkin Park.... Limp Bizkut...

Fortunately I never got to listen to Linkin Park.

mm I had the same thing with Evanescence when I was a kid.

I still like Nightwish from time to time.

I still like Linkin Park, Evanescence and Limp Bizkit and I'm not changing that.

Didn't particularly think that Flyleaf fit into the 'genre' you're describing.

But yeah, I don't like them either. :)

Nightwish and Flyleaf don't even fit into what you are trying to describe here, nor does Lacuna Coil. Hell, I don't think any of these bands are even in the same genre.

What are you getting at, female singers?

Nightwish-Power metal/symph metal

Flyleaf-Alt. Rock/Post Grunge

Lacuna Coil-Gothic Metal

Flyleaf rather reminds me of Alice in Chains...

Except that all of their songs have the same tempo, power chords, and vocal changes...

I hate commercial goth. Actually i hate goth too so it's a win-win situation.

I wish they're were good bands with female vocals....my buddy at is in one that seems to be be pretty popular around here...I forgot the name though he was gonna hook me up with a CD.
