I have a resolution problem with Half Life Episode 1

I installed the game perfectly,and i was able to play it, but then i changed the resolution from 800x600 to 720x620(Im not really sure, i forgot), then my monitor says the input is not supported, so i can hear the sounds, but my monitor cant play it, i tried restarting it, but i think that the settings were saved and i get the black screen everytime i play it.
So what im asking is if anyone can help me by writing a guide on how to change the resolution on-a-blind, or something just to change the resolution without playin the game.
Please help! Im cryin right now guys!;(;(
