In internet forums the same stuff always ends up getting discussed over and over. I think it would be neat to have a forum interface based on subject networks. So rather than a chronological list of threads, you would have a network (possibly 3d) of threads connected by general subject. Individual posts could also be networked across threads based on relevance. Of course people want to stay up to date on the recent topics, so maybe newer messeges glow brighter or something. That way you could constantly navigate through a subject by following relevant posts and threads, sorta like wasting time on Wikipedia.

Sounds great I expect a beta version available in 2 weeks, good luck.

Dan's turn to create a baby!

I think it will be 3d and use Tiberium as a fuel source.

but that would only deter people from reposting useless junk...... i see. i guess you could do it with some kind of tagging system but it really seems like a bloated interface i don't think it would work very well.

People would still respond to stuff 80 days old.

The easier way is just to do what digg.com does. It searches for keywords when you submit a post then lists posts that might be similar so you don't repost something.
