So wtf games should I get for it. I have perfect dark, and am getting rogue squadron, goldeneye, and super smash brothers. what else?!
 
Oh yeah! Definatly have to get M64... I've never heard of winback though, I'll check it out. oot sucks, i hate zelda after that one for gameboy that I couldnt beat.

Superman 64, if you feel like getting a good laugh out of one of the worst games ever made.
 
Man I thought I had a lot of n64 games before I sold my old 64, I've never heard of any of these games.

Perfect Dark alone makes it a worthwhile re-purchase. :thumbs:
 
Diddy Kong Racing.
Mario Kart 64
Some of the Kirby games rock as well.
 
Definately OoT and Mario 64.

Check out No Mercy - the best wrestling game ever, and probaly my favourite beatem-up.

Paper Mario is also well worth getting, as is Mario Golf/Tennis (both better than the GC versions) and Diddy Kong racing (streets ahead of MK64)

If you enjoy OoT then get Majora's Mask - another very good Zelda title.

(there's a crap load of other great N64 titles, too many to mention at this late hour :))

The only thing I really liked about Diddy Kong racing was the story aspect. Perhaps I still hold a slight grudge against it as I could never beat Wizpig. I mean,you need green flames on every single speed-up??

I have a N64...I just don't know where it is...
As for other games, it's been so long so I don't really remember, goldeneye of course and banjo kazooie is pretty sweet. M64 fo sho.
 
I loved Diddy Kong Racing... I never did beat it, there was some point that I couldent win anymore so I quit.
 
well of course Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, Mario, Conkers Bad Fur Day...all been posted. But what about San Francisco Rush? That is one of my favorite racing games...turn the music down to 0 and just enjoy this awesome game.

First listen to the music because its hilariously terrible...other than that the game is great.

Hey I remember that game! In fact I still have it! It was truly an amazingly fun game, it was my favourite arcade racer untill Burnout was released.

1080 Snowboarding, but it might be sucky by todays standards.

And the South Park game is pretty funny in multiplayer.

Mario Party 3, great..well...party game!

Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards, awesome Kirby game...can suck up enemies and absorb their powers and do combos and the like.

Starfox 64, great space shooter.

Plenty more.
 
I never actually played it, but blast corps (i think thats what it was called... the rare game) is meant to be awesome

The yoshi game's pretty cool too

Blast Corps was horrible...if i remember it right..
 
Get Majora's Mask - the best Zelda game. Get Goldeneye and Perfect Dark as well.
 
Jet Force Gemini was also a very cool game :)

ISS is also a very good arcady football game. The best around untill WE came out.
 
Blast corps was brilliant, and so was another underrated gem - body harvest...picked that up for 3 quid the other day, bargain.

Blast Corps wasn't bad, i just found it pretty hard at the time. I was pretty young too.
Body harvest was fun for a while, but it felt really bulky and moving was pretty dodgey.
And all of the other games mentioned were ace. :)

Count me in as another blast corps fan... I think that was such an underrated game. When I got it I expected it to be some sort of racing game or something, but eventually it grew on me. And it had some very catchy music. :D
 
how blast corps can not appeal to a kid is miles beyond me. it's a game about driving big trucks through as much buildings as possible. it takes a little girl not to like it.

and word to the awesome music; I have not played that game in at least six years, yet I remember two or three songs very well.
 
Lets see, games that hasn't been mentioned yet...

I used to think that Wave Race 64 was pretty addictive.

Rush 2 had some pretty cool racing environments, and the stunt arena was brilliant!

The N64 was great.
