If you like fighting games that don't involve button mashing but actual skill, pick up Dead or Alive 4. GoW is also very recommended.

Bah, I was never a fan of DoA...

You have to memorize too many things and learn a bunch of stuff before you can be good. Memorizing huge amounts of moves != fun

I think going onto the Arcade and picking up Geometry Wars would be good

I just sold my xbox360 for the price I bought it for, thats a nice deal :thumbs: ...Gears kicked f...kin ass, but its a long time until a another killer title like that will pop up(alan wake) + I`m falling back to my pc as the nr one gaming platform for fps. I`l use the cash to upgrade my rig. Stalker, Bioshock, Crysis and hl2 - ep2 is comming :farmer:

My mate had his Christmas yesterday because his dad goes back to the oil rig he works on tomorrow, so this was the last they'd see him till whenever he gets back, which is like every 6 weeks or something.

Rainbow Six Vegas has a somewhat similar feel, but is TONS better. I played it with JNightshade for an hour or so today, and though we couldn't hear each other talk, it was way more engrossing than GRAW was.

Also, during this match, I got an awesome/hilarious idea while a few of us were talking about shooting people in the groin: Wouldn't it be cool if games could somehow track if your kids were playing the same game as you, and if you got killed by being shot in the groin, your kids died too?

I believe two on your list of wanted pc games, Bioshock and Ep2, are coming to the 360 as well, albeit with better graphics. Also, don't forget about RE5, which will come out...eventually.

I wouldn't be so sure about better graphics on the 360 when Bioshock and Ep2 come out. DX10 video cards are going to be much faster than the hardware in your xbox 360......

From my understanding HL2 and Ep.1 will look better on the 360, at least for a while - it's the only version coming with all the fancy effects Lost Coast showed off.

Bioshock and HL2 should run very well - you'd need a good ?1000+ pc to run these games at higher settings..

A 360 for ?250 and a HDTV for ?500 still comes cheaper than a ?1000, though.

But I can live with just my console (and the games) and a standard TV - I know I'm going to enjoy the HL2 episodes and Bioshock regardless.
