unplug the power cord for a few minutes, that usually solves problems if your pc wont turn on

well sorry we weren't fatser. When you try and boot up, do the fan start up? Try removing the plug from the surge protector and plugging it directly into the wall socket.

hi! my PSU was w/ god, so i ran out tyo the nearest compUSA w/ power and got it replaced. and my computer is now alive

I was almost sure i fried my PS when it happened, btu i was lucky.
