I just went out and bought some LEGO. Am I sad?

Well, I just finished my English Literature paper, and now I don't have any more exams for 2 weeks. So I went into town. And decided to buy some LEGO.

I stood outside the shop for about 5 minutes making sure no-one saw me

I went in and spent a tenner (Probally my most well - spent tenner in ages, I wish I'd spent £6 on LEGO instead of paying to see Star Wars), and the lady at the counter looked suicidal. I don't know why, she works in a LEGO shop!!

After I'd bought the LEGO, I went outside, and the first thing that happened was a bird shat in my hair but I didn't care, bacause I've got LEGO!!!

Making LEGO is possibly the most fun you'll ever have. So fun, in fact, that I threw the model on the floor and decided to make it differently

I love LEGO. Best thing the Dutch ever did.




In case you're wondering, I bought this and this. I'm trying to figure out how to build them into an uber model... hmmmm....

Dutch are amazing people, i love em. And lego...well thats in a league of its own, you've inspired me to go digging around in the loft, i had some great stuff, then i moved onto technic, which i had two hand controlled puncher cars which you could use to punch people in the eye with

Did it have this spinning motor thing and about 3 buttons or something? I got one of those with this R2-D2 kit. Got annoying when I had to replace the battery though.

I remember english literature exam... I just memorised the model answer for the mock exam and regurigitated it for the real exam (despite the question being different). Got a B.

So if I answered completely the wrong question and got a B, I'm sure you'll do fine.

I find lego extremely limited, this is only because i make things out of steel and wood in any shape i like.
At the age of 19, looking older than i am if i went and got lego people would presume i was buying it for a son or something.

Nah it'll be fine. Everyone thinks it awful when they read it over.

I did, and turned out I did alright.

The funnest part of legos as I recall was to construct two large robot armies and have them fight eachother. Of course whenever one of the robots gets killed you get to smash him on the floor and he flies into little pieces. Then you have to go to your room cause you just sprayed lego bits all over the house and the cat tries to eat them.

Yeah dont you kids worry about your exams, im sure you did really well. Infact, from my experience you do better in the exams you thought were awful and allot worse in the ones that were amazingly easy.

I like lego, I always made the arm thing, and put a boxing glove on the end, then I went and punched my friends brother in the face with it, everytime I got the lego out.

Collecting LEGO sets has been a hobby of mine for as long as I can remember. The Star Wars sets are the reason why I still collect them. Some of the models are really well done. The AT-AT is still my favorite.

I remember i made a "lego technic human"
I was about 10 or something at the time and it was a little smaller than me, basically i was trying to make a robot human from lego technic.
I had several motor units and eleastic bands for various functions.

It's head would turn 360 degree LMAO!!

I remember my 1337 gearbox i made as well!!!
It actually worked, 3 speed gear box with clutch.
