lol, I just heard a piece on NPR about how stereotypes about Jewish people work in their favor in China. The interviewee was "half Jewish, half Chinese", and the resulting hybrid stereotype was actually working in his favor in the business world. I think stereotypes are hilarious, but to act on them as if they were accurate is where the problem lies, in my opinion.
