I lost my original Half-Life 2 CD...

Hey all, so I bought Half life 2 about 2-3 years ago and I lost the CD about two years ago, and I just found the case for it under my bed remembering that I still don't have the CD. I had forgotten my backpack in a restaurant and came back to get it and it was gone, which contained a dvd binder with the HF2 cd in it. How can I get another CD?, I have the serial in the case... and I can't find the actual installer anywhere on the internet and im a noob at this, can anyone help me? please?.

Just install Steam: http://cdn.steampowered.com/download/SteamInstall.msi Log in and Half-life 2 should still be there.

Your game is tied to your Steam account forever. As long as you can remember your Steam username and password you can just log into Steam and download Half-Life 2 perfectly legally from any PC or Mac in the world.
