Man....what the **** did that guy do? That was alittle unnerving, especially when people started yelling them to stop at the end of the speech.

Twenty-one year old journalism major Andrew Meyer was apprehended as he tried to ask Kerry about African American disenfranchisement in the 2004 presidential elections. Meyer was clutching a copy of the investigative journalist Greg Palast's book "Armed Madhouse." In full view of a packed hall, police officers cut off Meyer's microphone, removed him from the room, and shocked him with a stun-gun. Meyer was later arrested and charged with resisting arrest and disturbing the peace. He was released Tuesday morning after spending the night in jail. Hours later, some three hundred University of Florida students marched on campus in protest."

The guy rifled off a barrage of successively more conspiracy-theory-type questions in a minute-long string. His actions would have appeared irrational and possibly even dangerous to security guards in charge of protecting John Kerry. When he continued to resist even with a taser gun pressed against his chest (he had MORE than enough warning) this in my opinion is the turning point when he entered into Internet fame status for dumbass behavior. Whether he should have been silenced is up for debate, but he only has himself to blame for getting his ass tased.
