ok...**** you USA it's because of you this happened.

so my GF recently transferred some money from her to my account...and before she could send the money she had to agree that her transaction will be scanned and checked out to see if she might be supporting terrorists or doing money laundering.

this thing is new since i was doing money transfers not even a month ago and nobody asked me anything.

now you have to agree or you cannot use their services. you might suggest moving to another bank...my bank is not one of the major ones so there is no reason to believe others don't have the same thing.

The potential severity of anything has to do with whatever the hell this means.
What are they going to do, a background check on your financial history? That's an invasion of privacy and I wouldn't agree to it. Find another way.
