I Need Another Game

The only Games I've played are Diablo LOD and Half-Life 2. I need another awesome Game what should my next choice be?

Starcraft can satisfy any gamers taste, as long as you know where to look (In the UMS\TvB section of the game).
The community never lived or fed off of mods. It lived off of a great game, and nothing more and still is by far one of the biggest communites today even at, 7 years old.(Turns 7 sometime in april I believe).

KOTOR is the best story driven real time rpg thing you can get. You could play it through, and it would be entirely different.

Minesweeper! Or failing that if you liked Diablo II you'll probably like Never Winter Nights or Dungeon Siege. I'm finding it amusing that people are responding with things like "KOTOR" or "DE:IW", come one, the guy's obviously not a massive game player, he won't know those things are, tell him the full name so he can look for it in the shops.

What bad things did you hear? The reviews have been +90%. My only critcism is that the game is short, but as hell nonetheless. There are some cool mods for it such as Chateau map. The game just as soo much style to it. I highly recommend it.

thats becuz of the stupid X-Box im playing Halo2 right now and
AA is horrible and everything looks the same but Story and Gameplay is cool..not half as cool as HL2 thoe

ww2 = hidden and dangerous 2 - game was so fun, like where eagles dare movie.
30s gangster = mafia for pc - im my opinion it was better than the gta series, console versions suck.

R.O.S.E. Online -- A Korean MMORPG, currently in free beta. Lots of fun.
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory -- Also in beta, but with only two maps. Still great.
Starcraft -- Amazing RTS. My all-time favorite strategy game.
Unreal Tournament 2004 -- Just a whole lot of fun.
Counter-Strike Source -- Free with HL2. You should try it out, but be warned that the userbase consists of a lot (and I mean a LOT) of people who aren't worth playing with or against.
