I Need Help!!!

Ok. lent my cousin far cry for like 4 months cus i needed to get a new computer and i went over to his house to get it back(i got my new computer on friday )Everything was fine except the first CD!!! It has little spots on that looked like water had dried on it. I thought this wasnt a problem since i could wash it off with soap and water. BUT I TRIED EVERYTHING I COULD THINK OF TO GET IT OFF!!!!

does anyone know wut to do?

Toothpaste, works for me all the time and it's cheaper then having to visit some workshop.

it starts up and everything.
I start up the installation but when its gets to a certain point is says "so and so cant be found"

d_skin only works if the cd is brand new. D_skin doesnt help if the cd is already ****ed up

toothpaste works by filling scratches, as its a grainy substance. very effective. less so on dvd's because so much data is in a single scratch. sounds like he burned it or something. pics?

Go to just about any electronics store and buy a CD repair machine. You just turn a crank, and it cleans the cd and repairs even deep scratches.

Its just the 1st disk anway, after im done with it in the installation im home free and i can get a cd_crack for it

put a big gob of it on your fingers. rub from the INSIDE (little circle in the middle) to the OUTSIDE. dont rub it up and down because thats how you probably ****ed it up.

oh.. and just to clarify you need to rinse the toothpaste off and dry the cd before you put it in your computer.

Ask your cousin what he did to the CD.

And make him pay for a new one.

head to the kitchen, grab salt, rubbing alcohol, and paint thinner. rub it all over the cd, then put it in the microwave. after 2 minutes, take it out and break it in half. sit on it, then run it over with a pogostick. i guarantee the spots will be gone.

Alright, well ill tell you how to solve your problem, done this a million times, jus take a piss on it, comes clean off. make sure to hold it with some sort of stick tho, and watch that splashback.

That'll be some CD Crack. One which cracks the game so you don't need the CD to install.

yeah then eat it all, then in a while itll pop out the other end good as new. our bodies are amazing i tell ya!
