Next year, for my gradutaion, I'm going to be getting a laptop.
My question is this:
Since I'll have this desktop to play games (getting better gfx and more ram soon),
shoud I go with an Apple PowerBook since theyre known for their rock solid reliablility, or with a PC laptop, just an ok one since I'll have this desktop?

I'm leaning towards apple.

depends. If you're a power pc user just get the pc labtop. If you like the ease and layed back style of macs, then go ahead. i personally don't like the style of macs.

Depends what you will be doing with the laptop.

If you want it for school work mainly then look into a Dell, Toshiba, IBM laptop or an Apple ibook.
If you will be doing more intensive task relating to office or a little gaming then think about the PC side with enough memory and possibly a good video card. Dell is still a pretty good option here.
If you want more video/audio in the mix then take a look into Apple's Powerbook.

Personally I'd really look into either a PC laptop with a good gfx card or a 12inch Apple ibook or powerbook. Those are slick. ;)

=0 youre a moderator now? Thanks for the response too. I'm trying to get into creating flash videos, too.
