I need more music!

Hi,
I'm getting a bit tired of listening to the same music over and over again, so I'm looking for some new stuff.
I like pretty much any kind of rock, eg Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, The White Stripes etc.
Any suggestions?

Some of my musical tastes can be difficult for sure, but Merzbow is one of those artists that I have no clue how to approach and usually lose patience in trying to figure out after a few minutes.

Although I guess it's a good approximation of what Hell for machines sounds like.

the biggest problem with approaching merzbow is that he has such a ludicrous amount of releases that it's difficult to even comprehend a starting point. the guy has like over 60 physical releases and goddamn do i wish i could acquire them all. i haven't even scratched the surface of the guy yet.

Oh, and if you like Yeah Yeah Yeahs, go listen to Sonic Youth.
