Right well im needed to do a few 3d drawings for a piece of work. These will be of a cube. Some isometric drawings would b gd also some gd looking 3d rendered...

Can any1 sugest any proggys?

create a model with textures, and make a map file of a room with a light.
import it to HL, and take a screenshot, add some aliens to add to the atmosphere - hooray! your maths coursework will look very proffessional and un-nerdy

no not half-life but sum actual drawing proggys...n e ideas?

why not download a trial version of any of the 3d modelling apps out there (3ds max, maya, softimage, lightwave etc etc.) run the 30 day trial, click cube, drag in viewport and click render?

WTF is up with your avatar's right eye??

Dr Noswad, you'll have a hard time getting an isometric view out of a 3D program, it may look iso. but it wouldn't be quite right, due to 3D progs taking into account perspective.

You could ask in the editing section of this forum, someone might do it for you if you ask nicely. :)

its shiny biznitch! jealousy.. pfff
we all want a shiny eyepeice from a gasmask nowadays...

For it to shine like that he'd have to be moving though....

Also, it seems you've just used a smudge or pull function, as opposed to actually moving the reflected light line.
