I suck, can I practise just with bots?!?!!

hey there, currently there are no bots for HL2DM, only for CS:S...

maybe they'll bring them out soon, but untill then, your jut going to have to get slaughtered by others untill you learn

i´m too slow for a 16 player slaughter, so if anybody who is a weak player is interested in a relaxed but nonetheless funny match, just contact me. i´d love to playtest my map (sig), too. i´m online via german dsl1000 so 3 or 4 players are the limit when i´m hosting the game.

btw. i´m unable to type while in game.

I think you need an official "I challenge you to a duel" image. You seem to do this quite often.

some people will be willing to share their knowledge with you, but most will just tell you to play and die alot then youll learn.

I think you gain alot of experience and skill from playing Single Player. I mean, that is basically what DM is! Play in the levels where you fight combine soldiers. Prison is a great place to practice.

Also, get used to the grav gun. Study the logistics of it. Just get used to it. Know how high you need to tilt the gun to get it where you want it.

Although I have yet to do this (yet to get used to it), you should bind your weapon switches to the keys close to your movement, so they are more accessable.
