So I was in Physics idling in the back, doing some work. It was in the period after Phys. Ed. where we had completely destroyed the other team. A pathetic battle it was.

Okay, so back to physics...It was somewhere in the middle of the period when I heard this high-pitched noise a lot like the flashbang in CS:S. I only heard it in my left ear.... :x What's weirder is that I was the only one that heard it.

Freaky...kathaksung style...:imu:

Anyone have a good reason why this happened? Never happened to me before...

Yeah, that happens to me. It usually happens when you're thinking real hard, and then suddenly you stop thinking and are super-aware of your surroundings, and then your ear(s) will ring for a bit. It's weird.

I was kinda dazing out, having finished about 10 minutes early. I was concentrating on one thing, and everything I could see started to blur and turn into a big shade of brown.

It was very weird.

The G-man occasionly pops up in random events like that, look out a window or something. Heck, even stand up and be an idiot and when you are sent out of class you an get a better view of him...

Its called tinnitus, its a permanent damage to the ear. You can get if you hear very loud noises. you gonna have to live with those noises for the rest of your life haha

That happens every once in a while. It's nothing out of the ordinary.

Tinnitus is a phenomenon of the nervous system connected to the ear, characterized by perception of a ringing or beating sound (often perceived as sinusoidal) with no external source. This sound may be quiet, or loud enough to drown out all outside sounds.

At worst, tinnitus can drive someone absolutely crazy. Your ears ring 24/7, and there's nothing you can do to silence it. I know a person who suffers from tinnitus, and he has told me of some of the more extreme cases.

You don't want to have tinnitus.
