I want a "Thread of the week"

Thread of the weeks works well in some other forums i visit. Its a sticky thread that you can post stuff in that dont deserve its own thread (funny video clips for example, new avatar anouncement etc). This prevents alot of spam and stupid threads. After the week is over the thread is un-stickied and the mods makes a new "Thread of the week"....

Its not for spam. But if you want to tell everyone about those new shoes you bought today its better to do it in a week thread than start a whole new thread about it that dosent generate any discussion whatsoever.. :upstare:

I think it'll be a good thing, might encourage people to post interesting things for everyone to read or more of an incentive to behave. And reduce spam cos they know that will do no good. If whoever gets round to doing it there will be serious munrOwnage from that thread.
