I was kicked today...

I was flying a chopper in one of the maps on a 64 player server, and I wanted to get off to capture a flag. Since I didn't know how to land the chopper, I jumped off and parachuted down, forgetting that there were still 2 passengers onboard. Needless to say they weren't very pleased. So can someone please tell me how to land a chopper before any more casualties are incurred.

Just hold S if you are using a keyboard.

I always use the "Hop out." command before jumping out, then they're on their own.

I am not sure, I never read it but depending on how your controls are set up, that is how you land.

I hate people like you, if you're going to take a helicopter that can fly more than 2 people around, know how to fly it, don't bail, learn to hover over an area or land....sheeshhhhhh.

I do that, fly the copter really high in the air, give the Bail Out command twice and jump out. I also accidently hit E while flying a plane and the plane crashed into the ground with a passenger in it. The guy was like "WTF, you flew the plane into the ground"

Alright well first of all you need to slow down, it isn't too difficult. With the mouse and keyboard slowly and gently pull your mouse backwords but not too far, just enough to slowly stop the copter.

Secondly, start to hold down the 'S' button o nthe keyboard, and at the same time make sure the line in the middle of the screen stays straight. Don't let it go too far back, or too far forward. And especially keep it leveled don't let it dive to the right or left, always keep it straight.

Haha, when someone usually does that I press F1 and then I pilot. And to land it, level the Helicopter with the ground, then hold S making sure to keep it steady. I'm sure there is more to it, but that should be just about it.

I did the same thing, exept the heli was full (6) and i crashed it into a freindly vehicle.

I managed to survive with only 70% hp gone.
