I Wish He Was MY Teacher...

scaring children like that.. :(
But can´t believe they took that so seriously, poor things :P

Thats possibly the most marvelous thing I've heard all day.

If they hadn't taken it out of the dictionary, i'd say those were pretty gullable for 14 year olds, but then I suppose you don't expect it from a teacher.

Some people will believe anything....

Stupid bastards. Do they belive anything their teacher says?

That, quite simply, is great. If I had been in that class, I would've been in tears right with the other students (yes, I have this wierd thing were I believe anything I'm told, the skepticism of my peers hasn't touched me yet), but as soon as the teacher told me it was fake, I would have shouted out something to the effect of "You...are...a...GOD!"

...or something like that

Which pupil doesn't? That's the way the elementary school system works.

But the intention of the "joke" was actually a great one, if everyone lived each day as if it was their last, the world would probably be a more suitable place for our kind.

Oh, come on. If the earth was to be destroyed the first way you would find out would not be through you your teacher. I would take it as a joke. I think. Maybe I would cry too. Who knows? God? No. :O

Of course not when it's about earth being blown up, but in almost 100% regarding everything else; History, religion, politics and such.

Well I don't think its quite so clear cut as that. Apart from the "If the world was to end tommorow...I'd steal a car and go wild" ideas, you could say living for the day is short sighted.

I'm not... so sure about that...

I would live my last day on Earth not being very productive, I would probably be quite destructive actually.

Lol. That "seizing the day" thing sounds like someting out of the movie SAW. Just with less locking people in scary rooms.

if a student did that, he or she would be expelled. It was a good joke and the teacher must have played it out well for the kids to believe it. There was me thinking kids didnt listen in assembly... we all switched off and fell asleep, this guy must be a good teacher to get their attention. :)

Sure the teacher's intentions were for good but the teacher probably did some mental damage. Heck, some kids are probably going to be goraphobic and not believe thier 'reasurrance'...

What he did was just plain stupid...

next thing you know theres a sudden rise in population in 9 months because all the students didnt want to die virgins
