If I had been in that class, I would've been in tears right with the other students (yes, I have this wierd thing were I believe anything I'm told, the skepticism of my peers hasn't touched me yet), but as soon as the teacher told me it was fake, I would have shouted out something to the effect of "You...are...a...GOD!"

Of course not when it's about earth being blown up, but in almost 100% regarding everything else; History, religion, politics and such.

Well I don't think its quite so clear cut as that. Apart from the "If the world was to end tommorow...I'd steal a car and go wild" ideas, you could say living for the day is short sighted.
