I remember seeing a tv show on this guy about 10 years ago. Doesn't look like he's made much progress since then.

Wouldn't this thing work a bit better if there were 2 other engines always blowing down to keep altitude?...since it wont' get that much speed? I am no expert in avionics, so don't teak me seriously on all the points.

the crane has a wire on it, the wire is not supporting the car, it is simply there for insurance reasons.

The engines swivel at a certain altitude and allows the car to fly at a max speed of 375 mph. The tail generates enough lift so that the thrust can be completley horizontal outside takeoff.

Wow, thats fast. Looks a bit wobbly on take-off and landing. Still cool though :)

Wouldn't mind the flying saucer either :D
