I won't be buying HL2

ok ok, so I get 100% flames cause I at a HL2 site, everyone will state its my lose and I miss out, fair enough I got other things.

I just like to say I been a proper valve fan boysince they started and I probley biggest HL fan in my heart.
I cry everyday for TF2 lol.
Anyway this recent thing about another delay:

Yes we could all say its not valve's fault and its the hackers but we wont.. please.

What i am upset about is Valve kept on 30th 30th 30th.
Then rumor had a delay valve denied ansa said 30th. I upgraded system (yea like a **** i know) and pre-orderd from gameplay.

Then boom! The delay was anncouned 4 days before release.
If it was 2 weeks I settle, but 4 days is a piss take.

I took a big blow from that and felt really upset but after awhile I hoped my system still run it full in november..........
But then BOOM again with the other delay............
If that delay is true then i won't go on and on I basicly boring you.

I just wont buy hl2 and I know 1 loss sale wont hurt em but... i feel i rather go do Call Of Duty and Doom 3.........

The problem I have is that they ahve kept their mouth sealed about Half-Life 2 for how many years, only to delay it once they announce it. I mean jeez why didn't they wait untile they were pretty damn sure the games was coming out at a givin date.

It actually does kinda piss me off a little.

You make it sound as if Valve is disheartened by your 'public' announcement. The truth is, they don't care if you buy it or not. You want to miss out on the biggest, most hyped sequal, with the most potential ever as a PC game, then thats your call.

While what you say is essentially true, it's not often that a game is delayed after months of the developers insisting that it will be released on a specific day. That's the part people keep forgetting.
