IBM Purple, getting there

I recently read that the IBM Purple is coming close to the processing power of the human brain, are we engineering our own destruction.
The Matrix and Terminator are coming close to reality, if computers in a few years are smarter than us, it will be technically impossible to stop them...........

just cuz a computer can calculate as fast as the human brain dosent mean it will have Artifcial intelligence..
