Icons missing

I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden icons for certain files are missing. This is only happening to my windows office programs and files that uses WMP by default. The office programs became the blank window icon and files that run off of them became the 3 little shapes in a window icon.

Only the icons are affected, nothing else is wrong. I could let it be, but it is annoying having these things stick out from everything else.
