...this is one of the most patrolled message boards ive ever been to.
Not with like spoilers and stuff like that (although im sure you guys do a good job with that too), but I mean with stupid topics like "RETAILER SAID ITS DELAYED!!!" or "I HATE GABE BLA BLA"; you guys are really good with getting rid of them and making the boards a more productive place. Well just saying thanks...(lol it would be funny if this got deleted too. )

certainly the staff/mods here are wonderful and generally have kept order but honestly? in the last week or so.. the name calling/flaming has risen to new heights

HL2.net is still a good site but i think over the last month at least things have started to go downhill a bit.. and while i use the report button (the staff/mods know this ) as much as i can when needed.. it just seems this site has attracted quite a few of the bad apples.

my example? the thread about Gabe, his posting habits and the dissing of HL2Fallout site.. i don't know and neither care about what happened to the thread.. but seriously.. the author of that thread seriously needed a banning.. at least a warning yet im not sure if thats the case. :|

and then the regulars here wonder why Gabe posts elsewhere or wonder why this site has been slowing gaining a bad rep.. its not rocket science guys.. please do something about it.. :frown:

I think this site attracts the low-lifes becuase it maintains the fun and spirit of gaming, with a balance toward productive/enjoyable discussion.

Whiney pukes get drawn to the party like flies to pies. The mods, here, keep their swatters ready, but dont slap the pie. (no double-entendre intended)
