So we're thinking of moving to Twin Falls, Idaho or somewhere near maybe.

Anyone live there? What's it like? School wise (for senior year) and college wise for state schools.

Was looking on google maps.. comparing Kingman, Arizona to Twin Falls, Idaho. So green compared to brown.. it'll be a weird culture shock kinda I guess if we do. I see a lot of farms there too.. is it really just farmland for miles and then suddenly a city like it seems from the pics?

I know a girl from Idaho

I would say that your perception of it from google maps would be somewhat impacted by the vast difference in photo resolution and type.
Its a patchwork of different satellite sweeps and air shots, so who knows.

YOU DA HO!

Get it? Id-a-ho...you know...right?

Isn't Idaho about 500 miles past the middle of nowhere?

My sister went to hight school in Idaho for a year, and I visited it for 1 week. Seems like a nice place to me, but I wouldn't expect want to live there. Too far away from civilization. ;)

sounds nice.. wont you miss your friends from arizona tho?

Part of my aprehension, but then year after that is college. So.. I'll be leaving them anyhow.

oh right. well i guess its a good move for ya. you got any pics of idaho?

btw youlle still have us ;) lol

i know a song "twin falls, idaho" - i think it's by ben kweller. good song.

The pub quiz tonight asked "which state has the capital 'Columbo'?

I almost put Idaho, but sanity prevailed in saying Ohio.

Idaho isn't that bad as it seems, I have a sister who lives in the twin falls area, as long as you stay away from the north and southern parts, you'll be fine. But I do warn you that there isn't really any good radio stations up there, unless you love country then you'll be in heaven. Oh yeah, say good bye to warm climate, it gets mighty cold. As for schools, I only been to Ricks college(BYU IDAHO) just visiting, its pretty nice up there. Hehe, but I prefer my warmer treeless desert of Utah over Idaho though. Oh yeah, if you love the color green.. say good bye to it, since its a plain/desert area up there, so there is no hills of lovely green grass... just dried tumbleweeds and random other weeds that grow all over the mountains.

What? But Twin Falls looks ultra green from the sattelite and other pictures. Maybe it's because I'm used to AZ? But is it really not that warm there?

What's wrong with the North and Southern parts of Twin Falls? Up north is near the river right, isn't the college up there? Bad stuff up there or what?

To the south of Idaho, thats where the scary cowboys live, the north is where byu idaho is, but a haven for neo-nazis.. usally its greener up north or near Boise. I guess you have to go there before you make a choice of living up there..

OMFG, I LIVE IN IDAHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I live about 2 hours away from Twin Falls, its one of the bigger cities in Idaho, but prolly not big compared to where u used to live. I live in a town with only 300 people in it. The climate is great in the summer, but man when winter comes around, you'll start thinking you live in the north pole. Girls here are ugly, however, ive dodged a bullet in the town i live in. :) Lotta mormons living here, including me. Gamers are usually far and few between, net sucks in my town (DSL 512k). Ask me anything else you wanna know

As long as you don't live in pocatello Idaho Uriel, you're fine! Idaho has some fine looking girls.. or it depends where your looking at.. usally mostly farmers.. but the city ones are ok looking.

Man when my good friend went up there for another friend's wedding he said that it was a plethora of beautiful ladies. He put it in much different terms though.. I quote "It's like I'm walking and I just think I WANT TO **** EVERYONE ON THE STREET OH MY GOD"

I'm afraid of the cold, I've never really been in it before, I've lived in Arizona my whole life, I saw snow that stuck to the ground only once before and that was in Flagstaff and it was just barely 30 degrees out and I thought I was going to die of freezing or something.

Dude the cold rocks! And don't freak out when white powdery percipitaion falls from the sky during the winter. It's called 'snow', and its pretty sweet.
