Well, she did do a good job on his campaign as it would seem (and from what I saw) so there is hope.

The fact that it would probably be difficult for Arnie to make such a big mess as his predecessor is also in his favor I guess :|

so what, actors have been voted into political positions before...it's nothing new. happens all over the world. they have their personal aides and advisors so there's pretty much no way they can cock it up. they just put an actor there for the image. stop jumping to conclusions.
 
nobody thought to mention Regan? Bit before many of yous time but he started life as an actor, not a very good one mind but still an actor. He became president, not just some governer too

I'm just saying that I find it funny a person that incarnates a bloodthirsty robot from the third millenium (with red golwing eyes and a metal skull and machineguns and 'clever' one-liners) in a movie that is playing during the elections could also win these elections and become gouvernor. Yeah, I'm not all that concerned over this at all...we've had plenty of stars in office, from Reagan to Jesse Ventura. He'll serve his term(s) and then we'll move on.

well, i can tell you that arnie is not the first austrian to hold political office in the US. john treutlen (governor of georgia in the 1770s i think) holds that distinction. but i believe you're refering to adolphie the hitlernator! what do i win?

I really think it's great he's getting rid of Illegal Immigrants having Driver's Licenses. An Illegal being able to legally drive is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

at least wait until he does something wrong or something you don't like...don't just complain because he exists.

i seem to remember a few million people in california voting for him instead of bustamante...it was quite a large margin

What the hell makes you think hes going to be a bad govenor? Does a govenor have to be a career politician with an interest in taking money for political interest from corportations , or could it be a private citizen , a famous one who is well known enough to win an election. But I guess your prejudice is right.

the democrats are already starting to prepare the "recall arnold" campaign. We have quite a few "recall arnold" and "**** arnold" signs aroung campus here at UCSB already too.

Davis did a bad job , that was democracy at work , and it was America doing what it does. A politician cant do whatever the hell he wants with no regard for the people.

and yes , the man said it right , you lose (Dems in Cali) , its over.
