Hackers are the least of problems in LAN parties. I mean, you are surrounded by a bunch of people who can see your screen any time they want, I dont think anyone would risk hacking

The main problem I have at Lan parties (that I host in my house) is that the room gets hot as **** with that many computers, and our video cards overheat and begin to artifact :O

Which I now have a system of fans in the room to keep things ventilated.

A few lans I used to go to, would rip out all your plugs and carry your case outside and leave it there. You would then be banned from the next lan. Only saw it happen once, some guy was trying to screw around with the network.

It may be years old, but I've never seen it - I've only been into the interweb gaming since getting HL2. Pissed myself laughing. I'm actually in the middle of a LAN party as I speak - I'm only spectating on this one though.
