Personally, I would choose WWII as an American under Patton.

Personally, I feel a special connection to that time period in general (40s-60s). Things were solved in a much more black and white manner without all the nit picking that currently takes place. It must have been amazing to be alive during the period of Patton, MacArthur, Truman, Churchill, Hitler, Stalin, etc.

I would fight along side african americans and martin luther king jr for equal rights and to abolish segregation. It seems to me the most knoble of any fight in recent history. And even though it may not be recognized historically as a war, to those people I'm sure it was, and the courage they displayed holding peaceful protest and making themselves be heard was very awe inspiring to me. They weren't there officially AFAIK, only as pilots etc, same with the Korean war; they flew planes in chinese uniforms.

I can't pick a war, I'm afraid... can't think of one I'd like (hmm its almost like picking out an icecream flavour or something... depressing heh)
I'd like anything that involved shooting up aliens though , mainly because I'd be on the side of humanity, no politics or seperate countries etc... (well, technically yeah, but.. grand scheme people!)

Definately the second Punic war fighting for the Romans against Carthage. I love ancient warfare and fighting for the Romans against the greatest threat it ever faced and triumphed against would be an amazing thing to do indeed.

Plus I would get to see what ancient Rome was like.

I'd choose the especially horrible boer war where all kinds of people died but a few were brave but many more were not so they died a not-so valiant death but at least they knew what country was the best in the whole wide world :thumbs:

but if I must choose, I guess either roman empire or ww2 ...nah ..cant do it, that's what games are for

Many times I don't feel they were justified. It's more of a matter to me of the cause rather than the means of fighting. From sharp sticks to futuristic weapons, all depends on who and why.

Anyways. I most identify with medieval era and WWII era warfare. So, if I had to make the choice between the two, i'd choose WWII, because I love stopping such atrocities. However, funnily enough, I'm pro allied regarding the war, but I admire the german technology the most. The stuka is my favorite warplane ever, and their tanks are awesome, including the panthers, panzers, and tigers and their varients.

Medieval era wars would be far more troublesome for me. I wouldn't want to deal with all the disease and such which was more common back then in warfare

I have already fought in a war.

But if I could choose another one it would be the war on Drugs. I would rob Drug Dealers of their cash and burn their drugs.

Around where I live people get pulled over and busted running drugs on I-40 almost every day. Most of the time hundreds of thousands, sometimes millions. It would be cool to get to these people first and get their cash, 'cause then there isn't anything they can do about it.
