Is there any way, any way at all to utilize IIS on Windows XP Home edition?

If not... damn. Grrrr!

I don't want to have to buy XP Pro, or get Windows Vista yet.

EDIT: Hmm... Apparently if I have XP Home, I can use an alternative which is called Cassini. Never heard of it, but I will be checking it out.

So which project on there am I looking for? I'm looking for something that supports ASP.Net

ASP.NET? Meh. I some how knew you were going to say that. The only thing I've found for ASP.NET on Apache is the ASP.NET branch of the Mono project. You can look into it here: http://mono-project.com/ASP.NET

Not to be a anti-m$ guy, but is there a reason why you want to use ASP.NET?

Because I'm fascinated with .NET, especially C# and ADO.NET and ASP.NET.

C# is my programming language of choice.

Nope, can't afford college... heh, and don't yet have my GED so I couldn't even enroll in a college.

Dreamspark has always made me really sad.
